CC believes that food connects every person regardless of where they are from as it is based on a sensory we have been using since we put things into our mouths. About a decade ago, she wrote and illustrated a book about food and snacks she had during her childhood; this time, after moving to a new place, she would like to illustrate the food that Hongkongers missed from their hometown and their discovery in the new home (Taiwan, The U.K., France, Netherlands, Czech Republic, New Zealand) through interviewing 7 groups of Hongkongers.
